Rumiantes: Feria y apoyo técnico a productores en Ecuador

The Ecuadorian dairy cattle sector is increasing its technological equipment and level of technical knowledge. However, farms’ profitability and farmers’ purchasing power are going down due to fuel price and currency exchange. Under this context, NOREL traveled to Ecuador aiming to provide farmers and technicians with specific strategies designed to increase their success under their particular conditions. To do so, NOREL was present in Ambato ruminants fair along with AVIHOL, our Ecuadorian partner. Apart from the technical advice given to farmers in the booth, NOREL participated with technical talks regarding by-pass fats and rumen enhancers. All this was complemented with farm visits, making it possible to assess future improvement. Hoping to go back soon and see these improvements
