Norel Leader of the MIMBIOPOR Project (FEDER-INNTERCONECTA)

In 2015 a NOREL was awarded a grant intended to promote regional cooperation in Research and development. The project named “Nutritional Technologies on the Minimization of the Use of Antibiotics in Swine Production (MIMBIOPOR)”, has as dossier code ITC-20151163 and belongs to the FEDER Innterconecta Program to be carried out in 2015-2017. The aim of the Project is to develop new nutritional strategies in order to minimize the use of antibiotics in piglets before the feeding, maintaining good performances, as well as health and welfare levels. The consortium members are from Internacional de Comercio y Servicios S.L, DOMCA S.A., Núter Feed SAU, General Ganadera Gallega S.A. and Norel S.A. (as Head of the Consortium). The amount of CDTI aid obtained for the development of the Consortium is 721.440,40 euros. These kind of grants belong to the National RDI Program Aimed at the Challenges of Society. This Program promotes the orientation of scientific research carried out in universities and public research, as well as R&D activities business towards the resolution of the problems and present and future needs of our society. In keeping with the challenges contained in the Spanish Strategy of Science, Technology, and Innovation and also aligned with the ones highlighted by the European Union Under Horizon 2020′ and the objectives of the ‘Smart Growth Operational Program  2014-2020’
