On the 27th of February, DIFAGRI a French producer of dietetic complementary feed (www.difagri.fr) organized a technical meeting with 40 of their own clients and visited a dairy farm in the West of France. Mr. David Gilbert, DIFAGRI’s sales and technical manager notes: “We have rapidly seen on the field some better results on the control of acidosis in these last two years in which have introduced RUMALATO in our RIMIFLOR range of products. In this dairy farm we have especially seen in the last six months an improvement of one liter a day per cow in milk production. This is why we decided to show our customers the good results that we can obtain with a supplementation of RUMALATO in combination with yeast”. RUMALATO is a salt of malic acid that reduces lactic acid concentration in rumen by stimulating lactate utilization by Selenomonas ruminantium. It also has positive effects on ruminal fermentation, increases nutrient digestibility, pH and propionate production
