NOREL WAS PRESENT TO POULTRY RESEARCH DAYS JRA IN FRANCE

This French Scientific Congress was held during two days on 09th and 10th March 2022 in Tours city.  This event is organized every two years by ITAVI, INRAE, ANSES and CTCPA, with the support of WPSA and WVPA organizations. It’s a good time for researchers and professionals to present and share the new challenge and innovation in the poultry market. 

The Norel’ participation of this event was important to know more about the current challenge in the poultry business and the requirements by authorities as well as the market and the consumer. It was also the opportunity for Norel to see people and share with them knowledge and to learn more about the scientific research done recently in the poultry sector.

Several challenges in poultry business must be managed: avian flu is getting more and more complicated in France; carbon footprint; protein autonomy; health with clostridium, coccidiosis, and salmonella contamination; the final consumer’s requirement; antibiotics (review and alternatives); microbiota and Immunity; animal welfare; male chick culling shutdown. Several presentation and poster have been presented about these different issues during this congress to explain the situation and the solutions available in the poultry market.
