This year the American Dairy Science Association® and the American Society of Animal Science, celebrated its JAM 2015 in Orlando, FL during the month of July. More than 2,500 abstracts and 41 symposia were scheduled that crossed species, disciplines, and societal topics of importance in food production. This Annual Meeting is one of the most important in the World with more than 2,600 students and professional attendees from many different countries. Norel’s Managing, Technical and Marketing teams were there, and presented different Works. Monica Puyalto presented an abstract about the effect of the Sodium Butyrate reducing Salmonella spp. excretion in contaminated fattening pig farms and two posters explaining how the performance improves in piglets with the sodium heptanoate and with protected sodium heptanoate. Juan José Mallo, Technical and Commercial Manager of the Company showed his work on the Evaluation of the efficacy of the new forms of sodium heptanoate or butyrate against an oral challenge with ETEC K88 In weaning piglets.
