Under the theme of Food, Technology and Sustainability, the 23rd edition of the Latin American Poultry Farming Congress was held last November in El Salvador (Central America)
During the scientific program of the Congress, Juan José Mallo, Technical and Commercial Director of NOREL, gave a very interesting presentation about the factors affecting the quality of egg, both externally (shell) and internally (albumen). In the presentation, were commented some experiences with the use of some additives which exist in the market and are an alternative focused directly to improve egg quality and thus the efficiency and productivity in poultry farms.
