Last November took place in Melbourne the 14th Biennial Conference of the Australasian Pig Science Association where pig nutritionists, veterinarians and producers from all around the world can discuss about the latest developments and researches on swine physiology, nutrition, health and production. The meeting was divided in different sessions: Delivering Science for Industry Benefit, Feed preference, Applied Nutrition and Grains (where Norel S.A. presented a paper dedicated to how Pre- and post-natal flavour exposure through maternal diet modifies feed preference and productive performance in post-weaning pigs), The Gastrointestinal Tract and Applied Nutrition, as well as Posters about subjects related to Nutrition, Feed Additives and Grains, Physiology, Welfare, Reproduction, Health and Disease, Environment and Product Quality, Meat Science and Technology, and Housing. The Conference Organization promoted the interaction between the participants which, together with the knowledge delivered, was very much appreciated.
