Norel at XXXVI SYMPOSIUM of ANAPORC

At the end of October, Norel together with other important companies in the industry, sponsored once again the XXXVI Symposium of the National Association of Scientific Pig Production (ANAPORC). The convention was held in Gerona (Spain). This year the conferences were focused on international Pig Markets and Intestinal Health on Thursday and the Future on the Use of Antibiotics and the Piglets Starvation Syndrome on Friday.

With more than 450 attendees, ANAPORC is considered a reference for pigs’ technicians in the south of Europe, a discussion forum on topical issues and key areas of concern for professionals of pig production. In the international market context, Spain ranks fourth in Pig Production only behind China, United States and Germany. Pig production represents 12.4% of the Agricultural Production in Spain. Within the livestock sectors, the Pig Production ranks the 1st in economic importance representing 34.2% of all Livestock Production
