Norel attended this congress as a partner of Nutri-scie China. At this time in China, the alternative to antibiotics in feed is a very attractive topic, due to the ban on the use of antibiotics in effect from July 1, 2020. For many years, Norel has proposed the use of short and medium chain organic acids as an alternative to antibiotics, specifically butyric acid in the form of protected sodium butyrate. Larry Li, Norel’s Great China Area Manager, had the opportunity to present the GUSTOR BP70 and GUSTOR L Cu products to numerous customers during the three-day congress. GUSTOR BP70, is a unique product due to its production process that allows a high content and protection of sodium butyrate and better animal performances. Gustor L Cu is a new product that will be launched in China in March 2021 and that aroused a lot of interest because its antibacterial effect reducing the pH value of the water helping to keep the facilities clean and which also contains sodium butyrate.
Although the current situation is not the most favorable for this kind of events due to COVID 19, the congress was a success. Norel has a wide variety of products and a history behind it which augurs great business opportunities in China.
