FLUIDAROM 1003® Renamed as PRINT-AROME®

We would like to inform you that from now on the product Fluidarom 1003® will be renamed as PRINT-AROME®. This aroma, based on essential oils, is capable of generating an ‘imprinting’ effect in the piglets that facilitates their introduction to solid feed after weaning and improves their performance. Due to the great acceptance of the product, it has been decided to change its name to PRINT-AROME® in order to highlight this ‘imprinting’ effect and emphasize its differential action over the classic flavors of the Fluidarom® line. In the most recent trials, the piglets conditioned with PRINT-AROME® through the maternal diet showed a numerically higher creep-feed consumption (+22.5%) and pre-starter feed (+ 11.6%) during the first week after weaning at 21 days. In addition, these piglets had a significantly higher growth (ADG +21.5 g/d; p<0.05) and a lower incidence of diarrhea (-19.44%; p <0.001) the first week post-weaning. These results confirm the usefulness of the product to improve the performance and reduce the problems associated with early weaning. Part of the results of this trial has been accepted for a forthcoming publication in the Journal of Animal Science.
