Norel IV Workshop: Introduction

Norel S.A. celebrated its IV biannual Workshop in L’Hospitalet de l’Infant (Tarragona, Spain). During three intense days, all the attendees were updated with the lastest information from every product line, and the company gathered up to date information of the global market. The different sessions covered, on the one hand, the trends in animal production figures, feed ingredients use and regulations in the different regions of the world (Australasia, Central America, EMEA, Iberia, Mekong, North and South America), and, Norel’s line of work: Non Medicated Growth Promoters, line of products based on short chain fatty acids that is growing worldwide; Flavors and Sweeteners and their added value in animal production chain (easing transition to solid feed in young mammals and change of rations in all species); Organic Minerals and how their use reduce emissions to the environment; Rumen enhancers and how the ruminal fermentation can be steered without antibiotics; Probiotics and their beneficial effect on animal health and performance; and, of course, Rumen By-pass Fats (Magnapac and Hidropalm), Mold inhibitors, Preservatives, Mycotoxin binders, etc, and how their use will contribute to use World’s limited resources and help to increase animal production in the coming years
