NOREL appoints new distributor in South Korea

We are pleased to announce that NOREL has appointed a new distributor for South Korea. We warmly welcome and wish a lot of success to Korea Thumbvet Co., Ltd as our distributor for several products such as flavours and sweeteners, probiotics, anti-oxidants and acidifiers in that country. Led by their President Dal Joong Kim and based in Seoul, the company was founded in 1973 and has an extensive experience as a supplier of veterinary medicine and feed additives for swine, poultry, ruminants and aquaculture in South Korea. Since 2001 the company is a member of Harim Group, a pioneer on chicken, swine, feed and animal health care in Korea. Harim Group has 9 main companies in Korea, and operates 10 branches in Philippines, Vietnam, China, and USA. The total compound feed produced in South Korea in 2012 was 16.8 million tonnes. Poultry accounts for 28% of the total, swine represents 27% while dairy and beef has the major share with 36% of the volume produced
