From 19 to 22 March 2019, the 14th International Fair for Animal Production (FIGAN) was held in Zaragoza. As for many years, NOREL has been present at this fair, a meeting place with colleagues and partners in the sector.
In this fair, the Technical Novelty Contest was held, in which the jury has named the product BYMET as ‘TECHNICAL IMPROVEMENT’. This competition distinguishes companies in the sector that are committed to R&D, quality and sustainability as main and permanent activities to achieve greater competitiveness within the market.
BYMET is a bypass methionine source, protected against ruminal degradation. This product contains 39% methionine protected with hydrogenated palm stearin. BYMET is inert at the ruminal level, so ruminal bacteria cannot use the methionine for the synthesis of microbial protein. This allows methionine to reach almost intact at the intestinal level where it is absorbed. Methionine is the first limiting amino acid in dairy cows of high production, so its supplementation in a precise and efficient way, improves productive parameters such as milk yield, as well as the fat and protein content in milk.
From NOREL S.A. we want to thank the jury of the contest for the recognition received. Also thank all those who visited us at the stand, and we hope to see you again in the same place in two years.
